The author Matt Daniels brought some interesting arguments in his essay. Daniels is scholarly because he fought for what he thought was right. He is very credible because he explained how the Anna Todd Jennings Scholarship was dangerously racist and he backed it up by saying how it discriminates against people like African Americans, Latinos, and many more. Every argument that he brought he had facts to back it up. Matt Daniels is not an expert, but he researched, and argued with his friends/family about it, and found every detail in why the scholarship discriminates against people. There were probably people fighting because of the Anna Todd Jennings scholarship. I think that the author's essay affected more people's feelings and their minds. People can get really mad and bothered how some people would take the scholarships because it is basically another help for white people. It feels like they are not helping and not giving importance to the rest of the people. Some people need it more than others but everyone should be equal. Not one gets more because he's white, black, or blue. Color or ethnicity shouldn't matter, that's just my opinion. Daniels gives facts about how it is racist, why people should take it, how it can affect you, and many more. He is not trying to persuade people, he is trying to educate people how things are working and how wrong it really is. Like I said before it is giving opportunities to white people but what about the rest of the people. It makes you question if they are not enough?, If they are not worth fighting for?, is it because what color they are?,or because they are just not important like whites?. There are many things that can happen and it can make people feel unworthy. I think Daniels was just trying to help people understand what he is fighting and writing
