Max's Quest For Hope In All Good Children

Everyone in society depends on their strengths or even a positive force like hope, which can flip an entire story. Demond Tutu said, “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness.” It affects and changes the main character where hope provides us with strength to conquer misery and despair. In relation to the book “All Good Children”, Max is the main character of the story despite the fact that the book was written in Max’s perspective. One of Max’s hobbies is playing football but not only that, he helps coach football for the younger children. With hope, Max finds other people who are willing to support him, no matter what kind of situation Max and his friends have to go through to achieve their destiny. According to the novel, Max helps coach football with Coach Emery during his football practices. Referring to the settings of the football scene, it was noted that a kid whose age was half of Max’s seemed to be a better football player than Max himself. Though it is potentially true the fact that the younger kid seemed to be better than Max, he still keeps his flow and yet never giving up. In reality of the novel, Max would have been frusturated, turning into a negative mood but hope enables Max to regain confidence in teaching, giving him the will to continue on. According to the novel, Dallas and Max went to the point where they had to hurt their principal Mr.Graham for fighting against them into being vaccinated. Will Max and friends be able to escape from the vaccination and hide from the teachers? How long exactly will this last for?
