Technology is a part of life that will never go away. Technology will be making strides to get better and better everyday. The thought of technology catching up to us as a society has to be on the minds as people. The question is, will there come a time where our technological advancements are just too much for us as a society to handle efficiently? George Ritzer, discuses the possible costs that come along with the advancement in technology.

Whether it is a customer at a fast food restaurant or a student going through school. Non-human technologies are de skilling the workers on the fast food industry. With technologies being in control of the process and how they are performed, it eliminates any sort of skill required to complete the task. It makes any job doable for just about anyone that can follow instructions. The workers are not required to think and analyze situations; just pressing a button will suffice. The non-human technologies control the behavior of workers.
