Which would you prefer? A story about true love and success or a story about power and betrayal? Jason and the Golden Fleece, a story about true love and success, follows a young demigod named Jason. Jason goes on a quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece for Pelias, his uncle, in order to take the throne as rightful king. Throughout Jason’s quest, he meets Medea and falls in love. When King Aeetes demands Jason to complete difficult to earn the Golden Fleece, willingly, Medea helped Jason become stronger and take the Golden Fleece. Sigurd, the Volsung, a story about power and betrayal, begins with Sigmund, Sigurd’s father and noble king. Sigmund Sigmund was the only one to remove Odin’s sword from the an oak tree, therefore earning the right to power and a throne. Eventually, Sigmund was killed by Odin and Sigurd was raised by the King of Denmark. When Sigurd was older, he takes on the challenge of slaying Fafnir, He succeeded in the challenge. Later on, he wakes Brumhild and they fall in love. When Sigurd leaves Brumhild, he was tricked into forgetting her and married another woman. Brumhild was angry at Sigurd for betraying her and ordered to get him killed. Sigurd was later betrayed by his allies.
