Soon Michelle and Barack began dating as a couple. In February 1990, Obama was given a special honor. He was titled as the first African American editor of Harvard Law Review. Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1991. Obama, feeling well accomplished and motivated, returned to his city, Chicago. There he went to practice acting as a civil rights lawyer for a firm called Miner, Barnhill & Galland. He also landed a job as a part-time lecturer and eventually a professor at the University of Chicago Law School between

In his time in office he completed many things such as working to destroy weapons of mass destruction in Eastern Europe. Obama made headlines in 2007 by announcing his run for president. Soon he was fighting tooth and nail with former first lady Hillary Clinton. On June 3, 2008 Obama became the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee. After beating Clinton in the primary round, she gave Obama her full support in the campaign. Obama soon prepared himself for the next hard fought battle against john McCain. He did battle with McCain and when the dust settled the poll showed Obama 52.9% and McCain 45.7%.
