Precedent, they have made plans to be wed outside of Athenian law because Hermia’s father has interdictedLysander from seeing Hermia. Therefore they have commenced fabricating their future plans together. “There my Lysander and myself shall meet; and thence from Athens turn away our eyes, to seek new friends and stranger companies”2 (1,1,217-219). Hermia and Lysander felt a deep passion and followed through on their feelings with determination. Lastly, Lysander wants to spend the night close to Hermia. At this point, Lysander and Hermia have followed up on their plans and run away into the woods together late at night. “One turf shall serve as a pillow for us both.
