The definition of a “monster” is a threatening force. In Walter Dean Myers’ Monster, Steve Harmon the defendant in the trial is being charged for felony murder. The monster in him is the struggle between his innocence and guilt. Steve’s judgement of his actions is similar to a pendulum swinging. One side is his innocence translated to his testimony while the other side is his guilt which is seen in his diary.
The term monster is a derogatory term to use against an individual, yet monsters lie out in the world. Some are actual horrible people, but some are misunderstood. The book Monster by Walter Dean Myers describes 16-year- old Steve Harmon and his journey throughout the scenes of a frightening experience. The experience of Steve is heart-breaking by people calling him a monster and him calling himself a monster. The amount of time that Steve has faced in jail will dictate how it will affect his inner self in the future.

It revolves around the flight of the princess to escape the awful marriage to his father (Perrault, 1977). Charles Perrault uses the princess’ character to reveal the major themes of overcoming evil, child abuse and incest in the story. Women play a particularly unique role in the Asian literature we just read. How are their experiences different from the male characters' and how do they navigate their middle passages and adjust to the New World? While looking at the passages of Asian literature, I noticed women had a more prominent role than the male characters. Each work began telling how a woman was on a boat traveling from an Asian country into America.
Her personal experience is socially and theoretically constructed and emotions play an essential role in the process of identity formation. Her identity is not fixed, which is portrayed by inquisitiveness that her own mother and Aunt thought she was possessed, enhanced and made this story an enriching experience. Novels, in particular, can be particularly ambiguous in terms of genre. Murakami’s novel, Sputnik Sweetheart, is no different—it could easily be a mystery, a misshapen romance, or even science fiction. Classifying the novel in these ways, however, all result in a focus on Sumire; when focused on Sumire, the novel’s main character, the novel seems one-dimensional—it’s the story of a young woman who disappears. However, interpreting the novel with an emphasis on Miu, a supporting character, reveals the story’s true complexities and coming-of-age storyline. Miu’s transformation over the course of the novel and the resolution of her identity crisis shows that the novel is, in fact, a coming-of-age novel.
To disciplined? The story shows what happens when a special person comes into our life and how the person’s present and future is changed. The story is more concentrated on Shinji’s’s and Hatsue’s’s love life. How they fell in love and later what were the consequences they had to face, how over serene Shinji’s’s life was before he fell in love with Hatsue’s and then it became unpleasant and in the end how they got each other.
The confusion made me read the whole story in order to understand the role of the two main characters who are mysterious, romantic, and wise. And also to identify the situation of the story through its setting which is confusing, imaginable, and dull. A teenage bodiless and genderless character
