This article shows us how research has indicated that the rate of military sexual trauma fluctuates depending on the way of assessment, also that experiences of harassment and military assault can have a negative impact on a person health and the way they function. It informs of how military sexual trauma is associated with not just emotional but physical symptoms, diminished health, and an increase in chronic health issues that the veteran experiences.
