In To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, it is very clear that the main character, Scout, sees no point of going to school and does not approve of her teacher, Miss Caroline. One quote that supports this opinion is, "If I didn't have to stay I'd leave. Jem that damn lady says Atticus' been teaching me and for him to stop it-"(Lee 23).
