Could you ever imagine being away from home, not being allowed to see your friends, and not being able to do the things you enjoy? The brave and remarkable little girl whose name was Anne Frank, hid from the Nazis in an annex with her family. Little Anne and her family were later found and sent away to nasty and evil concentration camps, where she later died. Anne often described the circumstances and consequences of being born into a Jewish family in her diary that she was given by her father, Otto Frank. One of the many traits of Anne is that she looked at life in a positive manner. The young girl was very brave by how she communicated through her diary and how she acted towards her environment. The little girl didn't think about how she was going through a lot, she thought about how happy she will be eventually. On line 27 on page 356, Anne said, "As for us, we're very fortunate." This quote explains that Anne believes that her family are fortunate for being alive in a time like the Holocaust, while hiding in an annex. For Anne, she is not allowed to go outside, see her friends, and do the many things every young girl enjoys. Instead, Anne is forced to hide in an annex with her family so they can have a chance to remain alive. If not, Anne and her family will be captured and then sent away from each other to dangerous, devastating camps that the Nazis held. Anne always believed that every single person was a good person. On line 1,928 on page 352, Anne stated, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are good at heart." This quote explains how Anne still thought that she liked or believed everyone was a good person. Even after her family and all of the other Jewish people were treated miserably by the evil Germans, the brave little girl still thought that the Nazi's were still really good at heart. Anne Frank went to school like every other girl does and did. She played with her friends and she was free to do anything. When the war started, all of the activities Anne did before, she was not able to do. Every Jewish person had to wear a badge on their clothes which was a star or the star of David. The star was intended to humiliate Jews and to mark them out for segregation and discrimination and also made the job of the Nazi officer's easier. From that, she had to hide with her family in an annex. After all of the consequences for being Jewish, the young girl still believed people were really good at
