In these essay’s they will be discussing about different things. One of the essay’s will talk about a poet and his crafts, missing the sea, Rameses II, Ozymandias, the seven ages of man, and Demeter. Demeter was sent to the underworld by Zeus because of something she did. She deserved to get put there because of what she did. Life is witnessed by its literature and how you look at life itself. Based on the ideas of Derek Walcott is Nobel Prize winner for his poetry. He began writing at a young age and published his first poem called “1944”. He published two of his poetry’s when he was 19 and he attended a University of the West Indies. Walcott spoke about being a pioneer, he had published a book-length poem in 1990 called Osmeros. Walcott is published as a playwright and he published more than 20 plays. Derek Walcott published a poem named Missing The Sea. Also, Rameses II was the third Egyptian Pharaoh of the 19th dynasty. He is the greatest and most powerful Egyptian leader of the Egyptian empire. Egyptologists believe that lived up to his nineties. Demeter had one daughter named Persephone the maiden in the spring. The lord of the dark underworld carried Persephone down there. Demeter wandered searching for her daughter and from there she did not taste ambrosia or put sweet nectar on her lips. The year was dreadful and cruel for mankind on Earth. Zeus sent gods after one another to get Demeter and bring her to Zeus. In conclusion in both of these stories they both lived a cruel life.
