Paul, Thanks you so much. I will spend today and part of tomorrow to rewrite the abstract to make more stronger substantial contribution to theory (Descriptive Theory) and practice of research ( Mixed Method - Qualitative Driven and Quantitative Supplementary Component Cross National Comparative). I will try and phone you if that is okay. Thanks again Regards

From 2011-2014, I led a South Asian Bible Study group in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In our group, we had members from different backgrounds and nationalities such as: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, England, and the US. During that time, we noticed that many Pakistani Christian families, who fled from Pakistan because of persecution and draconian blasphemy laws, were seeking asylum in Thailand. My team members and I invited the Christian refugee families in our Bible study group and tried to assist them, as much as we could, so they can adjust to their new surroundings. The English language skill was one of the barriers for Pakistani Christian refugees, because most of Thai tourism jobs require good communicative English language skills, even for a mediocre job.
I had a wonderful time today when I interviewed this inspirational young lady Theia Smallwood from TeamUp Counseling; she is an intensive in home clinician/Individual Support Services Supervisor. Ms. Smallwood was energetic and blissful to talk about her career and her experience with her employer. She oversee master level clinicians who are working on becoming license master level clinicians social worker. Working on her job for 3 years she explained to me how much she loved her job and how much the experiences has been positive.
Physical Therapy Assistant is an interesting field; it is a job that helps individuals in need. I interviewed Lucero because she is currently working in the same field that I see myself working in the future. The interview took place on November 29th; it lasted an hour and a half. The interview was about me trying to understand more about my future life as a physical therapist assistant. The purpose of this interview was for me to envision if this is the profession that I want for myself, in the future.
It was immediately apparent to me, when I began my interview, that Mr. Windsor was a very skilled counselor. The office we met in was very comfortable, with a plush loveseat, two single-seated cushioned chairs that sat facing the couch and a desk tucked away on the back wall. The room was softly lit and had a calming atmosphere. I was told to make myself comfortable and sit wherever I would like.
It was towards the end of the day. My grandma had just came home from work with a tired look in her eye. I waited a few minutes to start the interview, giving her time to rest and relax from a long day of work. I entered my grandma’s room and sat on a cabinet just in front of her giant bed. My grandma wore her long-sleeved blue work shirt and jeans.
Thinking back on the interview I can sense a lot of the responses had to with their life experiences because both interviewees seemed passionate about their response especially when speaking on health care cost and how there were times they couldn 't receive care or how they can 't receive care now due to lack of coverage or lack of funds to pay for co payments for medication, doctor visit, or urgent
I hope to provide support and medical social services to the elderly population. I realize that senior citizens sometimes struggle with unique age-related health issues and debilitating diseases that make it hard to pursue fully functioning lives. As a social worker I’d help elderly individuals and their families examine their needs, and determine how to make those things happen. The elderly sometimes also endure loss of family support, lack of mobility, depression, abuse and loneliness. I hope to address the daily battles facing our elderly by helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
