JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities in Jackson County arresting 13 people Tuesday as part of a warrant sweep. The Jackson County Bureau of Investigation, Sheriff 's Office and the Ravenswood Police Department made the sweep as part of a focus on a multi-state methethamphetamine investigation. The drug was from Mexican cartels and was being sold in Jackson County. Authorities arrested: — Danielle Seagraves, 40, on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance; — Nicholas Hopper, 34, for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; — Bradley Hickman, 20, for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance; — William P. Frederick Jackson Turner first spoke to an audience about the Turner Thesis during the 1893 Chicago World Fair. This event was the central ground of American superiority. Many different business groups of diverse backgrounds met to share new products, values and aspects of their culture. Turner stated in one of his speeches at an American Historians seminar that the american frontier or the desire to settle in an area of open and free land will always remain in effect. Due to the lack of land to expand in our continent, America would look overseas.
During the homecoming week, I have a chance to volunteer in the Tie Dye Booth, which was organized by the Psychology Student Association. I was there by 12 o’clock and help in preparing the booth. Clothes were arranged on the table and bucket of waters were fill up for the dye color. When people starts coming by, I hands out clothes according to their desire size to them. I learned how to do a tie-dye shirt and give them some suggestions about what pattern is available.

The political nature of Mardi Gras consists of satirical floats that are often a sign of frustration towards the government. During turbulent times of Reconstruction, Mardi Gras krewes used their floats and parades as a means to express their political views, desire for change, and anger.

The Shaw Festival is an extensive festival that is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The festival was originally founded in 1962 by Brian Dorothy and was dedicated to producing plays by George Bernard Shaw, because, as Dorothy explains in his book Not Bloody Likely, “Shaw was the only outstanding playwright in English, with the obvious exception of Shakespeare (7).
