As times change, the number one growing industry around the world is hospitality. Hospitality is the key to every successful company weither it be a hotel, restaurant, Movie Theater, or retail store. Any company can have a great core product, but if they are lacking in supplementary products such as enhancing elements or facilitating elements in which hospitable reasoning is involved in, then they will have put there company in an almost impossible passion for their core product to succeed.

In the case of Moe’s Southwestern Grill being a restaurant, their core elements would be their staple foods. The list would include their burrito, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and salads. Each of these core elements are served with a complementary side of chips and salsa, and a beverage which are all considered enhancing elements. Consultation, hospitality, safe keeping and expectations are all a part of the enhancing elements as well. Beginning with the order taking process is when the facilitative elements come into play. Other facilitative elements would include information given to customers by employees and payment/ billing exchanges between the customers and employees. Think back to the first 60 seconds that the customer experiences when walking into Moe’s Southwestern Grill as described previously; all of the enhancing elements; hospitable greeting, safe environment and high expectations are taken care of within the first minute.
