Social responsibility is any person or company must help or act for society in which they live . A person or company must act responsibility as it is there duty in order to make sure that they keep a balance between the ecosystem and the economy. Employment equity is that groups of people such as religious groups such as Jews, Muslims and Christians or groups of race whether Black, White, Coloured or Indian or an individual sex such as female or male do not suffer discrimination when being hired for a job position. Business ethics is all about trust and to make sure trust happens in the business world between markets and the consumers. By having good business ethics it also helps the public accept the company. They also create funding, business development support and market linkages to potential prospects and businesses in the surrounding communities. Mondi are also trying to reduce the odour at their mill in Richards Bay (C/S 2017 ). Employment equity Mondi are definitely applying this theme of sustainability as they are removing blockages against black woman and black people from allowing them to become owners or employees. They are trying to make sure the profiles of the workforce and management resemble the racial and gender demographics of Mondi’s region. They engage with the surrounding communities whether it’s the communities at close to the mils or the communities close to the plantations.
