We are studying and learning about our genetics in science. This includes studying genes, heredity, traits and Punnett squares.Punnett squares are especially important and are used to tell us which genes we will inheadiate for which parents. For example, we can use this to predict our hair color, height, eye color and other traits. Genes are basically a set of instructions for you body. It tells you body who you are going to be. This tool is used to map out our dominant and recessive genes otherwise know as allele. All of these things help us figure out each person’s make up. For our project we have been asked to create a “monster family.” My family has a mom, dad, daughter and son. Through this project, we will be able to see where each of the Ingie offspring get their genes from. This is referred to as heredity. …show more content…

They live there with an aunt, an uncle and two cousins. They spend their day working on the island and looking for food and materials that will make them more comfortable. They usually have perfect weather there, but every so often a big storm will blow thru. Because they are all family they resemble each other a lot. They don’t even realize they are even monsters. They also long for someone to come rescue them. They have forgotten what normal people look like. Johnson, the dad, has crazy blue hair. It is always a mess. His eyes are shaped like sideways triangles with slanted points. He has a curved mother and rounded ears. Lucky for him, he inherited a small nose. Frida is married to Johnson. She has fire red hair. Although, her hair is much more tame and has softways our her body. Unlike Johnson her ears and pointy and she has a much larger nose. Her eyes are the same shape as her husband's but opposite. This means instead of the pointed part of the triangle facing out, hers are flat on the sides. She is blessed with a rectangle shaped
