The Prologue 1 for Act 1 mentions two protagonists as the victims of fate whose lives are hindered from the beginning of the feud between their families the Montagues and the Capulets. Line 5-6 states,"From forth the fatal loins of these two foes / A pair of star-cross 'd lovers take their life." In Line 5 Loins is another word for the area between the legs. Which means These two enemies will have children. The families will each give birth. Referring to them as "fatal" implies immediately that the outcome of them may be deadly for the child or parent.
