Oh my gosh Diary,
�You will not believe what has happened. Yes… you guessed it. I have
escaped. Turns out Oakenshield was also locked by Elevenking as a prisoner and the
creepy shadow was actually the hobbit. Apparently, the hobbit was never captured. It is
a mystery to me how Thorin got there, but I am just glad that he is alive and with us
again. Once again, it was the hobbit, or shall I say Mr. Baggins, who have saved us all.
He has earned my respect. I now begin to understand why Gandalf choose Mr. Baggins
to be our burglar. � He is right about how Mr. Baggins has more to what we see. I shall
not think so lowly of him anymore.
However I must say… his plan was quite a ridiculous one. *chuckles* How did
the idea of being in barrels come to Mr. Baggins mind? How did he know that

I have hundreds of thousands of questions. Hehe … I did not like the trip along
the river. There was too much swaying in the water. It caused me to have sea sickness
and made me nauseous, if that even exists here, but it was close. � I also almost
vomited in it and that is no joke. If I did, yikes! The barrel would have smelled
horrendous like rotten eggs. The vomit would be with me until I could get out. Just
thinking about it gives me the tingles. Luckily, I did not vomit. However, my barrel
crashed into quite some rocks which caused the barrel to have some cracks. I
swallowed so much water. The rising water level made it seem like sleeping in a pool. I
thought I was gonna sink, with my weight and all.
After being saved, I did not have a clue of what had happened. I was told that
some of us had some minor bruises here and there, while some people “seemed
only half alive.” The “half alive” people were Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin and Gloin, if I am
