No one was dauntless enough to question the tradition without the trepidation of gregarious shunning, but after the lottery was drawn, a lot transmuted. Unbeknownst to Mrs. Hutchinson, she would be the inauspicious victor of the lottery and would reveal to everyone in the village that she was the victor. She had no worries that the lottery was going to affect her life in the first place. It was a shock when virtually immediately after she emerged to gruesome tradition, she was declared the triumpher of the lottery. Mrs. Hutchinson was taken back and could remotely process what transpired. Mrs., Hutchinson held her hands out desperately as the villagers moved in on her and screamed, ‘It isn’t fair’. Even if it was a revered or doted one, they were culled to be the sacrifice for the more preponderant good of the community and consequently had to be sacrificed. The family of Tessie Hutchinson took part in her stoning, her children and husband. Tessie’s family must live life without a mother/wife due to a pass� tradition that was still taking place. They must live life kenning that she is never coming back, and they were a component of the reason why. It does not matter who is culled for the lottery, whether it be a mere world, a child or and elderly they were going to be sacrificed. The village has become numb to the extremity of the lottery, that they were robots to the lottery. It was a proven fact that human sacrifices form not avail with the harvest of crops and the villagers kenned as well, within the exception of the older generation. In other villages, people were coming to the entelechy that the lottery is not opportune or pertinent anymore. In the past the lottery was rumored to take place, so the crops could be plentiful.
