In Much Ado About Nothing by William shakespeare we all notice how Claudio has his heart on his sleeve, and bursting with emotion. Of course while that is going on Benedick has his usuall sharp mouth, though on the inside hes really a softy. Later on in the story their personality can clash with them being over emotinal and humores. Claudio serves as the foil of Bendick by which Benedick’s sharp mouth are illuminated through Claudio’s childishness; thus, overly influence behavior( or conflict) in the story. Benedick and Claudio have a couple differences. Benedick is serious and has a sharp mouth, while Claudio can get very sensitive and wears his heart on his sleeve. This shows the Cluadio is very emotional (and eseaily swayed) which makes Benedick very sharp, and sour to him. Benedick does not let feelings get in the way to much. Howerver Claudio acts, Bendick can act the opposite depending on the situation the two are in. one can be emotional while the other is sarcastic. Even though Benedick and Claudio have differences they have certain traits in common. They both can get very emotional from being angry or love struck, and they are very humores at times. When hero is being slandered Claudio becomes very angry and emotional with a sharp mouth. Benedick resondeds the same way since he is over reacting, and acting out on everyone. What, are we playing with interjections? Well then, add some interjections that indicate laughter, like
“ah,” “ha,” and “he!”
Benedick is jokingly referring to a passage from a popular Latin grammar book of the
