In the novel “ To Kill A Mockingbird” the authors conveys multiple themes from the novel “How To Read Literature Like a Professor” ; such as Acts of being a Vampire, Now, Where Have I Seen Her?, and lastly When In Doubt It's From Shakespeare?.

In “To Kill a Mockingbird” the author uses the theme “ Acts of being a Vampire” . From To Kill A Mockingbird that author writes, “People said “Boo” Radley went out at night and peeped in people’s windows. That he breathed on flowers and they froze instantly. They said he committed little crimes in the night but not one ever saw him” (Page 15).This quote shows that everyone thought boo radley was rather a ghost like thing rather than being human being. The author wrote “I think I’m beginning to understand why Boo Radley’s stayed shut up in the house all this time… it’s because he wants to stay inside” (page 89).Boo Radley and Othello are greatly alike even though they are in both different scenarios and time periods. Both characters stayed isolated from others, Boo stayed isolated from Maycomb County and Othello stayed isolated to himself or Iago who was a untrustworthy friend of his. The author portrayed that Boo couldn't trust anybody other than himself because his dad kept him locked up in the house all the time which is true to a lesser extent. While Othello stayed more to himself because of how he grew and to trust only on person who was Iago. Also from both stories they both had their lives ruined by someone else. Boo like stated before life was to a certain extent ruined by his father while on the hand Iago ruined Othello's life through lies.Another quote"Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy.
