Murder for Reason Would you kill for vengeances? In The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Arthur Conan Doyle, Sir Charles a wealthy man died mysteriously. Mr. Stapleton is so amused by the moor because he will, “never tire of the moor,” and he invented his time to know all “the wonderful secrets it contains. It is so vast, barren and mysterious,” He's, “only been here two years”. There's a, “few men who know it better than I do”. (Conan Doyle 69). Mrs. Stapleton wants Sir henry to, “!Go back to London!”. She wanted him to, “ start tonight, get away from this place at all costs!”, (Conan Doyle 70). Mrs. Stapleton thought he was Sir Henry, but when she realized he wasn't Sir Henry, She takes back what she said: “Please, forgot the words I said”.
