The American Dream is most commonly known for freedom and individual success. The differences between time eras and changes throughout society are constantly making the American dream look different. It’s all about the different culture and events that happen. The way Americans react will shift quite a few viewpoints of life. Starting way back when in the 1920’s we see Fitzgerald take a stand with his book The Great Gatsby.
One of the most important things to me besides family and friends would be getting my nursing degree. Most kids want to be the president or a sports player but not me; I always wanted to be a nurse. It was just in my nature to care of others before myself. When I turned sixteen years old, I received my Nursing Assistant License and have been working at Bethany Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI. The following summer, I attended Bellin Nursing Camp where I fell in love more with the nursing field.
The American Dream The American Dream is this ideal that every US resident has equal opportunity to achieve success through hard work and initiative. The idea of the American Dream has been altered and expectations have lowered to make the dream more accessible. America provides access for all people to achieve their dream by providing financial aid and an available variety of jobs, but only through hard work can you make your dream a reality. America provides every student in the US an opportunity to go to school and earn a high school diploma for free.
The American Dream is a common thing that people seek to have. The American Dream is the idea of a person coming from nothing and rising up to the upper class through hard work and dedication. Through this hard work and dedication people would hope to be free, wealthy, and happy. I'm sure this is everyone's dream, especially ones who come from a struggling family or come from another country looking for freedom and a way out from the way of life they were stuck in before. Pursuing this dream is good in some ways but not everything turns out the way it is planned to be.
The American Dream is often sought of as the ultimate accomplishment. Millions of immigrants travel to the United States every year to chase after the American dream not only for themselves, but for their families too. No matter your social status, upbringing, ethnicity or gender, through hard work you can become anything, and my parents chased after that for me. Like many families before mine, my family on both sides of the family immigrated to America.
Whenever the environment ever talks about the american dream what are we talking about. The American dream is nothing but a big mess.when our society tells us about the american dream they make it sound so good but really it’s just a big mess. The main reasoning i don’t like it is because some people aren’t trying to do good and they get away with a lot. If the people can earn it then they deserve it but if there just gonna give it away then there is no point. Like great gatsby he worked for his money.

The "American Dream" is something that has been sought after since this country was first established as a place where you can do what you want and live how you want. It is different for everyone! For some people it may be to grow crops in the delta of Arkansas or others to become rich and build buildings with their names on them all over the United States. It honestly does not matter what it is to you because, at the base of everyone's "dream" is freedom! You do not dream of a place where you are told you are middle or lower class and that can never change.
