It was one late afternoon, my Mom,Grandma, Cousin Alyssa, brother Jake, and my sister Jenna were driving up to my Cabin.Me and Jake were making all out funny corny jokes in the backseat. It was completely silent except for mine Jake’s voice. If he were to shut up, you could probably hear a pin drop. The cars were zooming past our jet black minivan. The cars were so fast, I couldn’t keep track of how many cars were on the highway. And the crack of sunlight hit the windows.I could hear the squeak of the new leather as I moved in the seat. But the cars zooming past us in the car faded by the next car coming,and the next one after that. “Are you all excited for Hubbard Lake?!” My Mom blurted out. We pulled over at an old driveway. There was a tractor dealership across the road. Jake, Jenna, and Alyssa got out of the car. My mom reached back to see if she could fidget with it.Still it wasn't coming off. I was starting to lose confidence that i was going to get out. “Jill, i'm going to cross the street to see if the dealership has any scissors.” My Grandma said. My face started to get puffy my hands were hot and sweaty.My moms face was starting to get red to.There was no use that i was going to get out. I imagined that i would be stuck like that for two more hours and that my grandpa would have to cut it.
