My Experience Of Gardening: My First Garden

Have you ever planted something before? Well if you have or haven’t, I have and now I actually love gardening, whether it’s a vegetable, fruit, or flower. A couple years back when I walked in Home depot with my Godmother who was very big on outdoors activity’s, she took me everywhere to sometimes shop and sometimes window shop because she just loved to bond with me and always took me places when she didn’t have too I was an inside kind of girl. This one specific day she was looking for weed killing spray and I had to use the bathroom and while I was walking to the bathroom I saw a big sign that said “Gardening” and I knew I had five dollars in my wallet that my oldest brother gave me before my Godmother came and picked me up from my house. I knew my Godmother loved plants, so I walked in and I when I saw all those colors, all those shapes and sizes it instantly took my heart away and I was really amazed. However gardening can be very frustrating at times, I have had to re-evaluate things as I’ve learned more. The first experience I had with planting was when I started my first garden, two weeks before I lost a loved one, I was growing a garden to take my mind off things. This process took the longest time because I didn’t follow the directions, I didn’t read the back of the seed packets it was so much on my mind during that time I was just trying to do it my way and fast. I was supposed to plant the flower seeds in late July, early August so my plants could start to
