Friends became a problem, as suddenly they were getting boyfriends and girlfriends. They left me and their other friends for the ones they supposedly loved. So I lost a few friends. Then it was that year when it was a dramatic change in the standards for all classes. Common Core was introduced, and soon we were being taught stuff that was taught in the eighth grade before.

I felt a bit nervous, and definitely scared. Mostly because I wondered what people thought of me as, because I’m not like other freshman. And, It was actually better than I expected. The classmates were friendly, they weren’t rude, and they welcomed me with open arms. So I guess I learned a lesson that year, other than just acceptance.
C is for Chisholm My first day of school in Chisholm. I was nervous yet very excited, I had met two of my teachers but the others weren 't there so I was in for a surprise. The teachers were all nice and classes were easy, I had to make more friends since the ones I already had, didn 't have any classes with me but that was fine. I wondered around school not remembering were any of my classes where.
Middle school was extremely ardous for me . I constantly had to write essays every single night because we read one novel every week. It seemed like I could never have a break from writing. The sheer amount of homework was nerve-wracking because I never expected this much homework. I remember expressing some of my my thoughts in my journal such as how hard writing essays was and how challenging my math tests were.
As Dr. Seuss once said, "You have BRAINS in your HEAD. You have FEET in your SHOES. You can steer yourself in any DIRECTION you CHOOSE". This quote applies to school in many ways. If you have ever used the statement, "They were doing it too" or "He made me do it" then you are wrong because as this quote says, you make your own decisions even if you are trying to impress your friends.

The emerging theme of Middle school The Worst Years of My Life is that trying to be popular isn 't the best idea. First of all trying to be cool isn 't a good idea because Rafes best friends maybe don 't like how your acting. Also if you 're trying to act cool can backfire. In middle school worst years of my life Rafe and his special operation called operation R.A.F.E Rules Aren 't For Everyone.
No one can honestly say that they enjoyed middle school. I know that I can’t. Unfortunately, as young teenagers, we are impressionable, and whatever habits and traits that we pick up in middle school can alter the course of our lives. Look at me, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis the summer before eighth grade and now my life has been changed forever. If I’m being completely honest, middle school helped me become the person I am today.
Then I got there and realized it wasn’t that bad. We read books, counted numbers, and learned d 'nealian handwriting. My favorite part of the day was recess. I liked that we were able to go outside and play for a while. Although, I was also a bit hesitant.
The morning of my first day, I was terrified, but also profoundly excited. My mother had beamed about Miami High’s immense school spirit. She had been an alumni herself. I already had a club I wanted to join in mind, even before I saw the list: Honoria. She had been part of Honoria for all four years of her high school experience in the 1980’s and told me about it.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
My first day of high school as a freshmen in a new level of education Is what I was thinking when I woke from slumber that morning in bed. Stepping foot on the campus wasn’t even the beginning, taking the school bus in the morning is where the first taste of being a freshmen and actually starting and being an high school student. I started to get really nervous and a sense of reality hit me. Walking towards the bus stop all I see is a huge group of high school students waiting around for the bus, calm and cool as I try to stay to be I approach the waiting area not knowing what to I’m getting into.
Kindergarten to 8th grade I attended a private school called Holy Family Catholic School. The school was very small along with classes, teachers extremely strict and hallways always quiet, the totally opposite from Dr. Henry A. Wise. My first day of high school I was very nervous I was not used to big classes, endless amount of students in the halls and the loud ruckus. This was an educational challenge for me because it was a totally different learning environment for me that i had to get used to quickly. My studying habits also challenged me through high school because test and quizzes were given out frequently and if you didn't know how to study you probably wouldn’t get a good grade.
