My First Tootsie Roll

May 31, 2013 is the date i tried my first tootsie roll, and when I did I quickly said to my mother who sitting next to me, “We should get some of these for home”. And she responded to my request with a yes! This is how it all started for my love of Tootsie Rolls.
So about a month later my family had started to eat my candy and I wasn’t to mad at that time, at least it wasn’t to the point to where it was gone in 60 seconds. Well as soon as I thought it wasn’t so bad my Uncle David came over and ate half of them and I started to become annoyed by the fact three pieces of my candy were left and it was only Tuesday. So I take 5 dollars of my money and go to the store to get some more. Thankfully they had a 2 bags for 5 dollars deal so that’s what I got. So I get home and I eat a quarter of one of the bags so I still had a lot left over. So after 2 weeks I had bought 10 bags of tootsie rolls, and I finally said ok, I’m gonna hide a perfect stash in my room and make a nasty stash in the candy bowl, but what am I gonna put in those candies? I decided to put 5 drops of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of water on them. I started to unwrap all of them and started putting …show more content…
