The story I will be talking about will be how I got my scar on my nose. I was at my cousin's house in Poulsbo for a family dinner with my mom's sister, and her two brothers. We have family dinners at least once a month just so we can see each other and catch up with everyone, so when we do we normally go to one of my uncles houses because they have the biggest houses of all of us. So out of all of my mom's side there is my aunt who has two children who were adopted in Japan, Zoe and Zak, Zoe is a senior, at Bainbridge Island High School now, and Zak is a 9th grader at a private school, my uncle has to children as well, my cousin Daniel who is also a senior, and Amanda who is in college right now.

When we would look for the dinosaurs we didn't want to use our hands for some reason so we decided to use shovels, and at the time we were about 8 or 9, so we used the little plastic shovels that you would bring to the beach to make sand castles with a little bucket that came with it. So we did just that, we made a sand castle. Daniel decided that we should make a moat and make the castle in it, so we made a hole that we could build it in, then Daniels shovel broke, and just at that time my little brother comes out and says he wants to play with us. We only had two shovel, but when Daniels broke we had one, but Daniels remembered his dad had a big shovel that wasn't plastic. All of the parents were inside the house playing a game called scene it, so they were watching us but not watching us, but since we didn't have enough shovels for my, little brother to use, we had to tell him no, so he threw a temper tantrum and ran back inside to go tell on his brother for not giving him a shovel. As he was going inside me and Daniel kept digging, and we were digging opposite ways, so we were throwing the dirt on each other not knowing it, so I turned around to tell him to throw the dirt to the side, and in an instant…… he whacked me in the face
