My Greek “god” is the Titan Prometheus, which means forethought. His parents are Iapetus and Clymene, and his siblings are Atlas, Epimetheus, and Menoetius. In some traditions Clymene isn’t mentioned as Prometheus’s mother, but as his wife where they are parents to Deucalion, the first man. In other traditions, Prometheus was tasked with modeling humans, or the first man, out of clay. Prometheus was clever which got him in trouble with the Olympians. His first trick was presenting two offerings to Zeus. One offering was beef inside an Ox, the other being bone hidden inside fat. Zeus chose the fat not knowing the bone was inside it and the beef was inside the ox, which decided that the offerings the human gave the gods would be the bones of
