Napoleon, our great and wonderful leader, passed away last Thursday. In his younger years he was the only boar of his family. In fact, he was the only boar on the farm that could reproduce. He was taken under the wing of Old major, another boar, at an early age. He was demanding at times, but that was for a good reason. His reason was because he was going to be great, which he did. He lead the rebellion against the humans and brought us to freedom. He was a wise pig and was always there to help us. He cared for all of the animals, but he really hated traitors. When Farmer Jones went to take back our farm, Napoleon was there to stop him. He lead the charge that sent the farmers away. He made great deals with the humans when they were needed. He did everything for them. In fact, all of his plans were for the other animals. He wanted to get electricity for all of the animals. He wanted to have all of the animals to live in luxury. He wanted to give them all the food they wanted, but sadly he was never able to get around to it. He sadly passed away before any of it was able to get done. Some other plans he had were to build more windmills for the animals to have electricity in their stalls. He also wanted to get around to building a pasture just for the old animals that couldn’t work anymore. He also wanted to tell you that you are all wonderful creatures and he appreciated everything you ever did for him everyday, but because he was so busy he was never able to get around to it. He also wanted to shorten your work hours but he couldn’t because he needed you animals to work harder so he would have enough food to support you when you aren’t working. Sadly he died before he could get to it. In his journal, that he kept, he wanted us to do something very special for him after he died and that was turn him into a ham, bacon, and sausage sandwich.
