Napoleon, A Natural Pig Dictator In the novel, Animal Farm, written by George Orwell, where there is one specific character, Napoleon, who took a role in this book whom was a natural leader for the sake and future for Animal Farm. Napoleon is a pig who takes upon leadership for all animals, makes roles and differences as before Mr. Jones or Snowball lead the farm, but also acts as if he was a dictator. From these facts about Napoleon, it shows how animal farm will be under circumstances of his actions and his personality that the farm will face. Napoleon, whom always disagrees with the temporary leader of Animal Farm, Snowball, has already started the plan to start the constructing of the windmill. As for Napoleon, who doesn’t support the building of the windmill only because he believes the increase of food production is much more important. From the text that contributes his disagreement of the windmill, ‘’...then suddenly he lifted his leg, urinated over the plans, and walked out without uttering a word.’’ (50) From this quote, it shows the type of personality that Napoleon has, the personality of a dictator because without a dictator 's approval, nothing senses to them that catches their attention and only sees it at as a waste of time that can be used for something else. On animal farm, there are many different kinds of representatives for Animalism in this book, and some may be with the acts of sycophants, socialism, or even persuasive acts to convince the animals on the farm, and running a farm was much more complicated on how the animals would thought it would be.
