A Manipulative power crazy dictator that has no idea how to run a farm… Napoleon From the Animal farm. After old major the head of the animals tells them they need to rebel against the humans they rebel and and napoleon take charge going power hungry and making life unfair for the animals. As the theme develops of napoleon turing power hungry in the book the animals are realizing that he is not true to his word and that “All animals are equal” is not so true. In the book it says, “ some of the animals remembered–or thought they remembered–that the Sixth Commandment decreed “No animals shall kill any other animal.”... Muriel read the Commandment for her. It ran: “ No animal shall kill any other animal without cause.” Somehow or other, the last two words had slipped out of the animals’ memory.” (Orwell Page 90) this is a great example of how his actions and experiences went with the theme because napoleon changed up the Commandments on the animals because he was in charge of the animals and the farm. Napoleon is going power hungry and does what ever he wants so it looks like he isn't doing anything bad for the farm but the animals are starting to catch on. Another way that Napoleons actions and experiences go with him being really power hungry is that in the book on the farm he secretly has dogs that he takes and trains to follow and listen to him no matter what. He trains the dogs to always do what he tells them to, in the book it says, “ they were the puppies whom Napoleon had taken away from their mothers and reared privately.
