Napoleon Bonaparte once said, “The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.” Chaos is an opponent to keeping order, which is needed for any group or organization. Without order it is impossible to survive and thrive as a group. One example of chaos that occurred was when piggy had his glasses stolen from him. The boys had decided that they needed a fire for warmth and to cook food. Piggy had just came out of the forest and was oblivious to what was about to happen. Before he knew it he was being jumped by other boys for his glasses. They went for his glasses so that they could use the glasses to magnify the sunrays and eventually start a fire.
