I was young and very talented for a freshman . I wanted to play varsity , but at that time Simeon had to many seniors and wouldn’t be able to fit me in the rotation so I decided to play JV so I can improve and be ready for varsity next year. I was always more advanced than the other girls on the basketball team . We went on a winning streak (5 games we won in a row) but we started losing to teams that wasn’t suppose to be . I was averaging 15 points a game my freshman year. I started getting frustrated because we oppurrnties losing .I was getting kicked out of practices and missing games . My teammates were blowing up my phone but I just ignored them . When I came to school everybody was asking me why haven’t I been at practice or been at games , I just told them I was taking a break from basketball because I was tired of losing and nobody else stepping up to help us win. It was kinda different than Simeon . Simeon was like a mansion compared to Bogan . The people were different from Simeon too , But lucky I knew half of the girls on the basketball team because we played traveling basketball together since grammar school . At first I didn’t like Bogan at all ! I thought I made a big mistake coming here , but I just tried to get over it because I knew I couldn’t go back to Simeon . The first day of practice at Bogan it was way different than Simeon’s . Bogan practice was non stop running . I thought in head like I would not be able to make it her with these types of practices the coach runs . My coach approached me after the second week of practice and asked me did I have asthma . I had asthma when I was a baby but it had went away. He told me I should go to the doctor and take a test to see if I have asthma . I went to the doctor and they told me that my asthma had came back and gave prescription to get my asthma pumps. After I got my asthma pumps I was back to normal with a lot of energy
