The Legend of Hyrule Many ages ago, after the universe was created, but before any souls existed there were 3 Golden Goddesses: Din was the Goddess of Power, Nayru was the Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore was the Goddess of Courage. These 3 Goddesses were solos, apart from them nothing had being, not a single soul existed and yet there was chaos, because there was no order.
The 3 Goddesses desired to have order and so they descended upon the chaos that was the earth. Din, with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land, created the red earth, and was therefore responsible for the creation of the geography of the Light World. Nayru released her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world, bringing peace and order to a formerly chaotic realm. Farore, with her consummate soul, created all life forms that would uphold the law established by Nayru.

The Triforce consists of three separate triangles: the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Courage, and the Triforce of Wisdom. Complete in its entirety the Triforce would grant the heart’s desire of its holder, whether good or evil. The Temple of Light, located at the center of the Sacred Realm, became the resting place of the Triforce, which was isolated from the Light World for safety.
