The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Nelson mandela was the first president of south africa. That quote to me means that courage is fear but also the triumph over that fear and realizing that anyone can triumph over that fear. The characters in the stories as well as in real life knew the dangers in doing the courageous actions they did but they all still continued forward to complete there task at hand.
