The money collected from the tickets of the first charity concert I was part of as a musician was donated to an institution for adults suffering of mental disorders and related learning disabilities. It was my first exposure to such unique human behaviour; their evident inner purity despite their condition touched me. I witnessed schizophrenia and depression within my family so I knew that growing up I wanted to delve deep into discovering all details about how our nervous system works, pursuing a career in research to uncover our brain's possibly limitless potential. I aspire to become a clinical neuropsychologist and develop innovative treatment through applying my research findings practically. I often spend much of my free time counselling many who decide to turn to me for advice regarding their concerns. Having received positive feedback in doing so I decided to pursue it further as seeing others progress on their journey of inner healing feels most rewarding to me. I participated the CYPSA psychology conference in 2016 where I did workshops on psychopathy, sexuality and religion's role in society. I took classes in social psychology for 3 months by a PhD student where I learnt to create questionnaires and conduct research. I'm currently completing an online internship with 7Cups to become an online counsellor and 2 Udemy courses in art therapy and religious sciences. However being a biology enthusiast since childhood the theoretical nature of psychology left me craving for more answers about the the biochemical foundations of behaviour. I pursued this through participating in the AoN conference 2017 in Warsaw and taking internships at CING and CAN in 2016. I took part in the SEMEP Project for two consecutive rounds and am a member of my
