New Belgium keeps a focus on their employees, customers, community and environment. Although the company has been around for more than two decades, making sure their business plan and core values continue to align with one another. New Belgium can maintain its strategic focus as the company continues to grow one way by continuing to perform SWOT analyses on different aspects of the company. O.C Ferrell and M. Hartline (2015) explain that many company’s think performing a generic SWOT analysis for the entire organization is not nearly as effective performing a series of separate analyses to retain focus on each individual goal and aspect (Ferrell & Hartline, 2015).
As the company continues to grow, they must also keep a strategic focus on the customers when making decisions. Entrepreneurship.org explains that New Belgium’s founder, Jeff Lebesch and the company developed a strategy that accepts continuous innovation to meet consumers needs ( “Adapting to the Market”, n.d.) Some of the company’s values and beliefs that are related to customers are transforming their expectations.
