On January 1st, 1998 the combination of two great hospitals and institutions by James Lennox led to the creation of one of the most impactful healthcare institutions in New York; The New York Presbyterian Hospital. Located in the Metropolitan Area of New York, the New York Presbyterian Hospital is a hospital that offers great care to patients by using advanced technology. During the first visit , interactions between the workers was highly overlooked. During my two last observations, I paid particular attention to the interactions between the workers as they seemed somehow appropriate and a little bit inappropriate at the same moment.It was appropriate as a man with a light brown skin complexion, hazel brown eyes, came and asked questions about why my partner and I were at the department, what are we hoping to get out of the visit. He also assisted Jensy by explaining more about the device Jensy was repairing. But while they were appropriate interactions at the workplace, they were also a few inappropriate interactions at the department. One example occurred while Jensy was fixing the devices. As she was assigned to telling us about the device, another male technician of dark skin complexion, between the age of 50 to 60 began talking about subjects that were definitely
not related to Biomed and that were definitely quite distracting because it took my attention from Jensy and made me listen to them. From Jensy's discussion, interaction between the workers were very positive overall because the workers would help each other accomplish their tasks and fix the devices
