Americans don’t really understand or get the opportunity to experience traditional medicine and healers. Most people don’t really realize that traditional medicine still occurs today. Traditional healers use spiritual healing and natural herbs to help heal people who come to them. Many traditional healers tend to their local neighborhood. They try to access the problem by talking with the family of the person who is ill. They then perform the necessary treatment, whether it being a religious ceremony or using natural ingredients to create a medicine. Traditional healers tend to use herbs for healing people. There is a wide variety of plants traditional healers use.
