It was banned in the U.K. And in some small parts of the US (Hughes). The reason Noddy Goes to School was banned was because in the beginning of the book it shows that Noddy is going to wash his car and then a “golliwog” shows up and talks about how he should clean his car's teeth (Blyton 13). Then Noddy sprays him with a hose and the golliwog runs away crying and after that and congratulates him (Blyton 14).
