Hillary Clinton is world renowned politician, but lately is far better known for various scandals as well as demonstrating her carelessness and untrustworthiness. Many mediums attempted to cover all of the Clinton scandal, in particular her use of a private email server as Secretary of State, with nonfiction and newspaper articles leading the charge. Nonfiction techniques’ illustrate reactions, reveal the point-of-view of the author, and employ clear and concise evidence in regards to Hillary Clinton’s untrustworthiness, juxtaposed to newspaper articles whose coverage is localized to a more specific audience, presents newspaper’s conservative bias, and has one-sided evidence, illustrate that nonfiction more effectively portray the news story of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails. …show more content…

The main goal of authors in nonfiction is to inform their audience on certain topics (“Elements of Nonfiction”). The audience enters nonfiction with little information on a certain topic, therefore it is the job of the author to cover all aspects of the topic. Another way authors present information varies based on who they are writing for. In that way, authors use visuals to present information more easily to the audience (“Elements of Nonfiction”). Perspective can have a strong effect on the readers as it keeps them engaged and makes it relatable depending on the type of visuals that the author incorporates. Accordingly, nonfiction help to educate readers and entertain them by using facts mixed in with point-of-view in order to help the audience better understand an
