While serving as president, Bill Clinton had an inappropriate relationship with employee Monica Lewinski. The problem, however, was not that Clinton was having an affair, but that he had lied about it, committing perjury while in high office. Clinton was nearly impeached by the Senate for this, and some advocated that he should resign. However, Clinton was good at fighting when he was at a disadvantage and managed to keep his office.
