The Evil that Follows During World War II, millions of lives were claimed by the Holocaust; over six million Jews were killed by the Nazis because of Hitler 's hatred towards the Jews. One family, The Franks, were affected by this unnecessary hatred. The Franks were a total of four people, Otto Frank, Edith Frank, Margot Frank, and Anne Frank. The Franks lived a normal life in Germany but decided to move as Jews were given less and less freedom because of Hitler 's laws to oppress the Jews. Even when the Frank Family left Germany to the Netherlands the Nazis invaded there and they were in the same situation once again.

His mother had to support his family as a milliner.
Both sources provided basic details about former State Representative Raymond W. Ewell. However, I found the first source, History Makers to be undoubtedly creditable. This source included an exclusive glimpse into the life of the senator. The History Maker, website provides researchers with pertinent facts about Mr. Ewell life. Also, the information provided seem to have been solicited directly from Representative Ewell in the form of a one on one interview.

Ryland enjoys attending concerts and listening to music.
Before the English venture of Roanoke, many Europeans had tested the waters of the New World. Whether it was to raid ships along the coast of the Newfoundland or establish colonies in the New World, several men had plans for exploration. Elizabeth’s sea dogs were prompted to partake in piracy and attack the Spanish at sea. However, due to various dangers with Spanish warships and the Bahama Channel the privateers were not consistently successful (Horn 35). Ralegh recruited the “most remarkable men” for his All-Star exploration team.
Tadeusz Gebethner was not only a great person on the soccer field, but he was an even better person off the field and should be recognized for that. The Gebethner family was a well known family in Poland due to their heavy involvement in the soccer team Polonia. On the field, Tadeusz was the first president of the soccer team as well as the captain of the team. With those very large roles on a newly founded soccer team, Tadeusz integrated minorities into Polonia, even Jews. When Poland was attacked by the Germans September 1, 1939, Tadeusz joined the polish army.
Jonah Prescott Mr. Williams English 8th 2/23/24 Leopold and Loeb It was May 12, 1924, Robert “Bobby” Frank was murdered in cold blood. The 14-year-old boy was offered a ride home by his 2nd cousin Richard Loeb and Loeb’s friend and partner in crime Nathan Leopold. But before we continue, I’d like to backtrack a little bit prior to the events of the murder. The two lived the average childhood with a very standard and basic thrifty lifestyle, like how Loeb had a very successful lawyer for a father, or perhaps how Leopold's first words were spoken when he was a meager four months old, or maybe how Leopold’s father was a German immigrant with a nice robust wallet.
The Life of Solomon Northrup Solomon Northrup was born to two free African Americans who had never experienced the life of a slave. In 1841, his life turned upside down when he was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Washington City. Solomon was a fiddle player who went to Washington for a job offer that ended up being just a scam. It seems like he was a trusted and fearless man. For twelve years, he was exposed to the horrors of being treated as a slave.
Forty year old Beate Zschaepe, also known as the Nazi Bride, confessed to being part of the National Socialist Underground (NSU), a terrorist organization. She is the only surviving member and is being held on trial for what happened over the past seven years. Beate Zschaepe explained to NBC News that she did not participate in the preparations or carrying out of the crimes and she felt guilty for not being able to prevent them. Wally Schirra a humorous character. One of his mottos of life is," we should resort to jokes, pranks and good natured kidding to relieve tension, stress and boredom." This motto in his life is something I admire in people. The drive of a person who can keep a smile on their face, no matter the situation. Wally Schirra also had a house in Kauai, so he must have appreciated the beauty of our islands.
There may never be perfect evidence to prove that Sebastian Burns and Atif Rafay murdered the Rafay family, but justice was served in this case; Burns and Rafay were approached with an “innocent until proven guilty” mindset, there wasn’t any excessive pressure, and Burns’ confession proved him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Burns and Rafay were approached by the police with an “innocent until proven guilty” mindset. The investigation of the two teens is not saying the police believed they were guilty, it is just standard procedure: the police investigate all witnesses at the crime scene. The police listened to and considered their alibi and were aware that people who had contact with Burns and Rafay during their alibi remembered seeing
Claflin University is one of the most significant academic institutions in the state of South Carolina. Despite the small size of the campus, Claflin University has much to offer to its students and faculty. Therefore, during my first semester, I fell in love with five aspects of the university and I learned to appreciate the heritage of Claflin University. Although the campus may appear to be boring at times, Claflin University offers a safe environment for all of its students.
This year marked the eighth time that our wonderful and eccentric history teacher, Mr. Toby Harms, has journeyed across the country in search of greater knowledge. The program that has allowed him to travel to places such as Wyoming, New York, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Washington, and now Ohio, is called the National Endowment for the Humanities or NEH. This program accepts thousands of applicants for one workshop, but only 40-60 candidates are chosen. This year 's workshop sent Mr. Harms to the Hopewell National Historical Park in Ohio to study the Ohio Mound Builders. He chose this particular workshop because they discussed the similarities and differences between the Ohio Mounds and Cahokia Mounds, which he covers in several of his classes.
