In conclusion, a relationship requires communication, if not trust is lost. Othello never believed that his wife could be unfaithful, but when he heard Cassio speaking about his affairs. He lost all his trust in his marriage. Iago set up Othello since he knew that Othello experienced epileptic fits. Othello did not know that Cassio was referring to his mistress, Bianca. He ruins his reputation when he slaps Desdemona and calls her a “whore” in front of her cousin, Lodovico. Desdemona is confused and asks Iago and Emilia for help. When Desdemona sings “willow,” she tells Emilia that she could never be unfaithful to Othello and Emilia says she would make her husband wealthier and king.
