If I could examine any problem, I would explore the ocean to discover new species and to learn how the ocean has changed over the years. I have always been fascinated with the ocean, and I would like to explore the world and see what we have left to find. Only around five to ten percent of the ocean has been discovered, and I want to be part of the team that learns about the other hidden 90 percent. To learn more about the ocean and what kind of life is hiding beneath its surface, I would gather a team of renowned scientists to accompany me on my journey. We would travel by boat around the world for a year. Since there have been hundreds of technological advances over the past 150 years, I would use any technology I could to obtain pictures, videos, and information about the deeper parts of the sea. Underwater cameras, radar, and other equipment would help me and my team discover more about the ocean that we would not be able to discover in dangerous …show more content…
Collecting samples would greatly increase the knowledge about the ocean, and placing tracking devices on animals to observe them as they travel throughout the year could show new patterns. Tracking changes over a year would also show the effects that the changing atmosphere and climate change have in a short amount of time. It might be possible that drastic changes will happen in one year, and observing these changes would show us how the ocean is affected by them. Analyzing samples of the ocean water would also show its composition, and comparing it to samples from previous decades would prove whether pollution in a certain area is greater than in others. Finding the concentration of pollutants could bring attention to how certain cities are affecting the entire ocean. It is possible that the use of certain chemicals in products or factories causes pollution that kills essential
