The novella Of Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck and the movie directed by Gary

Senise displayed the themes of loneliness, dreams, and friendship. The characters in the book

were lonely and they searched to fulfill the American dream.The two main characters are George

Milton and Lennie Small. According to page 2, Lennie was described as “a huge man, shapeless

of face, with large, pale eyes.” Lennie’s companion was George. Page 2 states that George was

“small and quick, dark of the face, with restless eyes and sharp,strong features.” George and

Lennie were good friends and they worked hard to achieve the American dream. John Steinbeck
