Christianity and Islam are two very different but also very similar religions. They both share some beliefs, like a monotheistic god, hell and heaven, and prophets for said god. But they also view traders with similar and different attitudes, like how they viewed selling an item for more than it is worth. They both believed that trading was unjust due to its methods of dishonesty and bribery. Traders are the backbone of history and the way they are viewed by the 2 biggest belief systems in the world is also important.
They also have similarities. They both believe in Jesus, both think Sunday is the holy day, both worship in churches and cathedrals, and also their religions are based on love. The two religions both believe Jesus is the son of god, they just interpret the bible differently. They both worship in places called Churches and Cathedral the same as the bible said in the old days. They also believe that Sunday is the Lord’s Day and that’s when they attend church.
1. The religion of Judaism goes back 2,000 years to the destruction of the 2nd Temple. The two main eras are Biblical and Rabbinical Judaism. Biblical Judaism is the time period before the 2nd Temple was destroyed and Rabbinical Judaism is everything that came after the destruction of the 2nd Temple. During Biblical Judaism, “a landless people established a hometown in Israel and made Jerusalem the capital of its kingdom”.
They are both the longest lasting religions and at one point Judaism used to be polytheistic, believing in several Gods, and in Hinduism some individuals do practice monotheism. They’ve shaped societies and civilizations such as the Land of Canaan. In summary, these religions hold more worth than my left pinky toe, and have had a long lasting effect through teaching and layering morals for every person. The difference between each is which god they believed in, because neither believed in the same god(s). What was important to the civilizations that worshipped Judaism was the Hebrew Bible. The Bible held answers to their creator’s being. The civilizations that worshipped Egyptian religion thought that their kings and gods were important. This was because they ruled over everything in their land therefore, they worshipped them and thought highly of them.
Anyone who is even slightly familiar with both Greek mythology and Christianity can clearly see the many differences between the two. It almost seems like an oxymoron that a monotheistic religion and a polytheistic religion would have similar storylines. However, when one looks at the core themes of the stories, the similarities jump out. Although they may seem worlds apart, Christianity and Greek Mythology have similarities among their stories. One prominent example comes from the stories of the creation of man.

Although while it was being compiled these stories relied heavily on word of mouth eventually, they gained wide-ranging recognition (Tullock, & McEntire, 2012). The Old Testament tells us about the people of Israel, the chosen ones of God. God had made a covenant with his people and that they would be faithful to God and that God would never abandon them. The people of Israel broke this covenant, due to unfaithful acts . God forgave his people and gave them the Ten Commandments as well as a new covenant. Unfortunately, everyone continued to sin, but God forgave time and time again, and always created a new covenant with them.

Judaism and Hinduism have many things in common. Both ancient religions believe in a higher power and both began as being specific to a certain region before later expanding in the late 19th century, with Judaism originating in Egypt and Hinduism taking its roots in India. With that being said, there are also several differences between the two religions. Hindus believe that we are reborn from a previous life until we achieve “oneness”, which is the unity of all beings with the Divine. Jews, on the other hand, believe that we are created in God’s image with the capacity to either be good or evil.
In conclusion, it is evident that although both of these denominations are a part of Judaism, there are many differences between them. Overall, one of the main differences between Orthodox Jews and Reform Jews is Reform Jews focus more on the ethics and moral of Judaism compared to the Orthodox who focus on strict rituals, commandments, and practices. Neither form of Judaism is better than another, they are simply meant for different people. Judaism is a religion filled with a variety of different beliefs and interpretations, but it is still a very popular belief system that is recognized
Christianity and Judaism are both monotheistic religions that share many similarities. Both religions were found in present day Israel and share a common writing. They shared the same Ten Commandments; Torah for the Jews and the Old Testaments for the Christians. Even though they are common in many different ways, they are also very different. Their marriage rites, rituals and the meaning of life are different.
