Christianity vs. Judaism Christianity and Judaism are two very common religions in the religious world today. Having been around for many years, the two religions still cannot agree upon a major part of their very similar beliefs. Christianity teaches that God and Jesus are one within himself. Judaism teaches that God and Jesus were two different people. The issue of not being able to agree upon the Person of Jesus Christ brings a distinct separation between the two. Christians and Jews are strong believers in the Old Testament. Got Questions Ministries states, “Christianity and Judaism both believe in one God who is almighty, omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, and infinite. Both religions believe in a God who is holy, righteous, and just, while at the same time loving, forgiving, and merciful.” (Got Questions Ministries) Believing in the existence of Heaven and Hell and believing that God has a special plan for the lives of those who believe are also some of the similarities that coincide in their religions.
