Tonight as I was putting Addison asleep with Becki Addison was afraid of the thunderstorm. She would flinch at every bang and crash. At one point as we rocked a loud bang shook the house and Addison said daddy I 'm scared. As I held her and said that it was OK and I was going to keep her safe, she took a deep relaxed breath she said I love you daddy. As Matt probably knows what I 'm talking about the feeling of being your little girl 's protector and her safe place to feel at ease.
They described the acts of Lionel Tate as not playful but cold, callous, and indescribably cruel. (Blanco). Lionel Tate described his acts towards Tiffany at first as if he was giving her a bear hug but later revealed that he was initially trying to show her wrestling moves he saw on TV performed by a professional Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. While showing these moves he saw to Tiffany, Lionel threw her into what he believed was the sofa but ended up throwing her into the railing of the stairs.

They learn more about each other, but it takes longer for Pat to become aware of his affection towards Tiffany. During a dinner with Ronnie and Veronica, Pat and Tiffany discuss the side effects of certain psychiatric drugs. After dinner Tiffany asks Pat to have sex with her. Because Pat is “married” to his wife, Nikki, he refuses. Pat acknowledges that Tiffany is a “slut” and that he cannot be associated with her sexual behavior if he wants to get back with Nikki.
I’m Helen Robinson, Tom Robinson’s wife. There was a timeframe in the book just after Tom was killed, before Helen could find a secure way to earn money for her family; it was a very unstable time for her and her children. Although Helen is portrayed as meek and kindhearted, much like Tom, the overwhelming sadness and pressure may have caused her to break down emotionally, or feel some emotions of vengeance towards a majority of the white community; especially the Ewells. In the novel, the black church provides her with funding and support while Tom is in court.
I’m glad that Chencha came to check on Tita, it shows that she loves her. I was sad when I found out that Chencha was raped by a group of bandits. In my opinion, Mama Elena has too much pride and she’s very arrogant. After all the things Tita went through with her, Tita still tried her best to cook for her mother, but Mama Elena was still hateful. No one was able to please her, I kept wondering, why don’t they just let her starve?

My name is Joey Langston and every day I wake up hungry and I go to bed the same way. I can’t afford to support my family and as a man I feel like I’m failing. I have nothing to my name but the clothes on my back. I’ve lost everything.
In this scene, we get to learn more about the characters and their behaviors toward other characters, as well as their desires. Throughout the scene, Sebastian contemplates if either he or Olivia is insane, due to the strange events that have occurred, such as Olivia somehow being in love with him even though she has just met him. He believes his situation is fortunate, however, showing that he does actually want to marry Olivia. Sebastian without a doubt decides to marry Olivia, showing that he is impulsive in decision-making. At the same time, Sebastian shows that he is able to reason, as he rationalizes that if Olivia were truly insane, she would not be able to head her house, but still knows that something about the love confession is not
Today me and Slim walked to the bunkhouse together, just chattin’ about the little pup that Slim gave to Lennie, which is moreover a kind gesture of him, since we both know that it means a lot to Lennie. Now the big guy’s got something to pet. I hope this keeps him damn busy, so he won’t do anything stupid which will get us in trouble. Slim commented on the power of Lennie, when he’s buckin’ barley, saying that he almost killed his partner. I felt proud at that moment, and as proud as I am I told him that Lennie can do anything if it doesn’t require much thinking.
The Awareness tactic can be a very a effective way for ENGO'S to not only pressure corporations and governments to action, but to gather the public and teach them about climate change as well as show them what's really going on. Some organisations use media to create public awareness about climate change issues simply to get people to change some of their desires in order to protect the environment. Many types of cars emit high amounts of gas emissions that are polluting the air as well as contributing to climate change. In 2005, Greenpeace United Kingdom organisation wanted to make S.U.V drivers and all citizens aware of the mass amount of polluting gas that SUV's emit (Turner, 2007, p. 107).
